BIOGRAPHY
Gaynor
Evelyn Sweeney (b. 1967, Liverpool (UK)) is a UK based Artist,
Curator and Author.
Her work has been presented in many
international shows and biennials from Paris, Berlin, New York,
London and more.
She has been commissioned by private and public
organisations, as well as collectors. Her practice encompasses over
her professional career Fine Art and Contemporary Art, such as
Painting, Sculpture, Digital Media, Sound Works, Installations,
Performance Art and a manifold of other cultural projects.
She has
been contracted for cross-disciplinary initiatives in Arts and
Science, Medicine and Education nationally and internationally. Her
other roles have been to Mentor and Lecture in Fine Art and
Contemporary Art.
Other creative programmes have consisted of
Charitable concerns in Medicine, Education and socially deprived
areas.
She founded various Arts and Cultural Enterprises in the
national and international Arts market.
She has been described in
her main diverse practices and creative aptitude as “avant-garde”
and having a “social conscience”.
